Roamers

Roamers Group is a self-directed initiative by members. It is an opportunity for a member to invite other members to attend interesting community events such as a theatre production, a movie, a dinner, or a sporting event.   Any member may send out an announcement through the convener of the Roamers stating details.   Contact the convener Kaarina Tulisalo at ekt_86@hotmail.com or 707-752-2404 to suggest an event or to find out more about the events listed below.  If you wish to receive group emails from Kaarina about Roamer events as they are suggested, email her.

  • October 2 to 24 at various locations in North Bay: The Sexual Assault Roadshow, an art  display.  For specific dates, times, and locations, check the Amelia Rising website: ameliarising.ca and poster.


  • Friday, October 13, 20, and 27, at 6:00 p.m. at Discovery North: Haunted Hikes. Cost is $6.00.  Call 705-476-2323 to register.


  • Saturday, October 21, at 12:00 p.m. at the Galaxy: Live at the Met presents Jacques Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffmann.  Tickets are approximately $25.

  • Tuesday, November 14, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Callander Community Centre:  The Callander Library hosts a dinner fundraiser “An Evening of Indian Cuisine,” catered by Don and Pat Drysdale.  Cost is $35. See poster for details.
